For most of my life I have not been set up well for self-discovery, now I’m in my 20’s trying to catch up on everything I missed out on as a teenager. The downside to finding yourself as an adult is that you don’t get to approach life innocently. You’ve been left, you’ve been the bad guy, you now realize you grew up under a belief system you might not agree with anymore. You know loneliness.
Okay Kenedi is a face for the late bloomers, the last-picks and anyone a little late to growing up. I write music that finds people who might think who they are isn’t okay to remind them - we’re all okay.
